"Improved models" are 'ready-to-run' models that are improved by adding 'detail' and/or 'weathering' or similar without altering the 'ready-to-run' status. These may be 'steam outline' or 'modern diesel and electric outline' as examples on this and other pages in this section.
"DETAIL" - may include 'in-box' and/or other detail, etched number, name, shedcode plate, depot plaque and other etchings added to any degree as available and specified.
"WEATHERING" - general 'muck', 'oil', 'dirt' or similar representative of state of stock usage in service. This may be graded as 'light', 'medium', 'heavy' or 'very heavy' dependent upon final result required including 'rust', 'livery fading', 'paint peeling' 'ash/water/oil/grease-staining' or similar effects possible and specified.
"CORRECTION" of manufacturers' errors and/or omissions if possible.
