"Moreayes" is the specific 'customising' service developed from "Moray's Models" first established in 1992 originally called 'Moray's Model Centre' owing to shop premises being in Elgin, the 'city centre' of the 'District of Moray', along the central southern coast of the 'Moray Firth', north-east Scotland and continuing some miles inland.
Although moving shop premises several times within a proximity of the 'Moray Firth' even for some time being located in Banff, county town of Banffshire, neighbour county to Moray, still southern coastal to Moray Firth, thus a change of name to "Moray's Models" (omitting 'Centre' as no longer being in the city centre, Elgin of Moray).
Still a further move to Keith in 2005, inland some 20 miles but within the 'District of Moray', name remained unchanged.
Being originally establish to provide a specialist service by customising model railway items and specifically locomotives, both steam and modern (diesel and electric) outline, popularity in the Moray area with no purchase facilities for model railway products, assisted in our development also in supplying 'ready-to-run' products and accessories by offering retail sales and worldwide mail order for model railway products.
Over the years, as many enthusiasts and modellers realise the vast and varied improvements of model quality and introduction of alternative control systems such as 'digital command control', we became more determined to emphasise our "Specialist & Expert @ Customising" services by introducing our 'newly named' "MOREAYES" department, a subsidiary but independent of "Moray's Models".
This name representing our intention to provide 'more-a-yes' custom service whatever the individual customer requirement may involve. If it is possible, we are more likely to say 'YES' to your request.
So, whatever your request, whether a renumber and/or name, complete relivery, detailing, weathering, unique 'custom' requirement, conversion to DCC, layout design, construction, track planning, wiring or anything else related to model railways, we are priviledged to announce "MORE-A-YES" services.
